Animal Farm is a novel written by George Orwell, was an English Novelist in 19th century. Animal Farm is one of his notable work, published in August 17, 1945.

Animal Farm is a story based on Political satire, where animals of Manor Farm rebel against their master Mr. Jones to be free & happy. Manor Farm was based in Willingdon, England, whose owner was an alcoholic farmer Mr. Jones. One day, Old Major, an old pig called all animals for meeting to talk about his dream, he saw yesterday. Each and every animal gathered at one place at night, when their masters went to sleep.

Old Major told them about human nature and their teaching and teach them a revolutionary song ‘Beasts of England’. Old Major dies and some what the fire he en light inside animals started growing against humans.

After someday when Mr. Jones workers forget to give food to animals, all animals get wild and through humans out of the farm. They changed the name of Manor Farm to Animal Farm. Now Animal Farm became the only farm which runs by animals.

They adopt seven commandments of animalism which are:-

  • Whatever goes upon two legs is an enemy.
  • Whatever goes upon four legs, or has wings, is a friend.
  • No animal shall wear clothes.
  • No animal shall sleep in a bed.

Animals now works for their own food not for any human. Snowball, a pig commands every animal and also started teachings for animals. Napoleon and another pig never likes his plans. Once Mr. Jones with other farmers attacked Animal Farm but Animals beat them off and won the ‘Battle of Cowshed’.

Animals don’t like the idea because their motto was ‘Four legs good, two legs bad’. Squealer, a young pig confront them and everyone accept it.
