Black Beauty was sold by his old master to Squire Gordon, who taught him how to wear a saddle and carry a rider. His groom was John and took good care of Black Beauty. His mistress was very kind to him.

On a rainy day, both Black Beauty and his master had to go to a town for some business and the guard told them to be careful and they reach safely.

Its afternoon when they were returning home, when they reached the bridge, Black Beauty stopped moving and sensed something was wrong. The guard came out and told them that the bridge is broken.

John thanks Black Beauty to save him and his Mistress hugged him and thanked him. John took Black Beauty to his stable and covered him with a blanket and Black Beauty slept peacefully.

The book told about Black Beauty’s bravery. My rating for this book is 5/5.
