Book Review: The Blue Umbrella by Ruskin Bond

Have you guys read this book ” The Blue Umbrella” by Ruskin Bond? If you don’t then you have to read it, its a very short story of a village which you all, must be read in your childhood.

Ruskin Bond is an Indian Writer, who has written lots of books for children.

The Blue Umbrella is a story of a girl named, Binya who get the beautiful blue umbrella by giving her precious leopard claws. She was so fond of the umbrella that she always took an umbrella with her, whenever she went out and its the news of the whole village and make Ram Bharosa a shop owner into a stealer or thief.

The story gives such a great lesson of ” Can things be more important than a person? ” why we give importance to the things we just got and forget others and also make us a criminal.

Read it if you never read Ruskin Bond books, it’s an easy read with around 100 pages.
